Dec: Grad photo....
Every month, I get closer and closer to my official graduation in June. SCARY. Five years ago, I was that confused grade 8 who couldn't even figure out how to use the lock for my locker. Five years later, I'm one of the old grads who's finally leaving highschool. It's amazing how a person can actually change so much in five years, especially when you're older the process of change is more drastic. The emotional parts, I'll save it until June. Yet today, the discussion will be on GRAD PHOTO.
It was actually the day before the photo day where I had really gotten nervous. So many things just popped into my head at once. How to do the make up's, which dress to wear, how to do my hair. So on Friday night, I began to panic and got really emotional unstable. "Whatever" I thought, and I went to sleep at 4 am (That's right, that's my problem-solving method). The next morning, I got up at 9am (amazing eh?), and I called Air Hair, thinking that it would be impossible to book an apointment that late. Instead, they were in fact available at noon, "Yes!" I thought, it could work! So I quickly rushed to Air and got a new haircut (Daniel'll be happy becuase I kept my bangs) (And I actually slept through my haircut XD).
After staying in Downtown for several hours, I got back at 4PM. At first I wore a white blouse and black pants becuase I thought the grad gown could cover most of the parts; and quickly had my dad drive me to Rachel's house. When I saw how the other three people dressed so fancy, I began to think "Uh oh..........maybe I should have picked out a dress". Under their persuasion, I decided that it was best to change into the formal dress. So I called my father, telling him to grab my black dress. He came with the wrong one = =. Okay, so I went back with him and got the right one and drove back to Rachel's. By the time I arrived, it was almost my turn to get the make up done (Rachel's sister was nice enough to do it for us ^_^).
It was my first time getting cosmetic products mopped on my face, and it was an unforgettable experience, considering that the fake eyelashes felt like NEEDLES stabing my eyes. So right after the make up and the perming, Rachel's mother took me to the school first (Thanks so much to her). I stepped out and "BEEP", it was melting snow and ice everywhere. But I managed to get myself up on the trailor ^^.
The photo part went smoothly, but I totally forgot about the $50 that I had to pay. Thank God I had my cellphone with me, so I phoned Jessie, telling her to have Rachel bring me my bag while I wait for them in the trailor. So Rachel stepped in, panting, I asked her
"Where's my bag?"
"Oh, I forgot, we were in hell of a rush!"
So I phoned Jessie again, telling her to have Amy bring it.
Amy stepped in 10 minutes after..
"Amy, do you have my bag?"
"I forgot!!! OMG I'm so late!!" And went about her business = ="
So I phoned Jessie for the last time..
"Jessie, they all forgotten, so you have to bring me my bag alright?! You gotta!" (Or else I'll have to stay in the trailor and clean their camera lenses until the pay is complete)
Jessie stepped in, I asked her while already predicting my answer seeing her empty hands, "Jessie.........(I had patience), where (the hell) is my bag...?"
She covered her mouth with her hands, "OH....I forgot"
I could have murdered her,...
But, I HAVE to consider myself lucky, becuase I wasn't late for the photos. And they were, so they could only do the shots where they were dressed in the grad gowns becuase they came here 20 mintues late. Really, I felt sorry becuase if I didn't perm my hair, they could have made it = =" (Sorry guys ><) So, we got back to Rachel's house, took some more photos and talked, and made fun of each other, and finally we got home. I was so tired... and went zzZZZzzZZZ after showering... This was my grad photo, another step closer to graduation, another reminder of my exit of highschool, shall I choose to be happy or to be sad, what's the next reminder, when will it be? I know "goodbye" is enevitable, yet I will leave this rest until the real final day.
