London Trip Part III

I forgot where I went on the third day, but I remember the forth day. So I got up early due to jet-lag, ate an English breakfast and used the Londoner travelling method (tube) to a traditional-European market with my sister.
We ate some kind of a sandwich for lunch..which was quite hard to eat because it was so huge. I attempted to use a plastic knife and fork at first, but it merely made the sandwich look worse. We saw the other people basically just used their hands, so whatever, we'll do the same XD.
Later, my sister took me to the Tower of London. At first we just walked around the exterior becuase admission fee was required to tour inside. But I was very curious of historical European castles and towers that I broke my heart and paid eight pounds for the ticket. I went in alone while my sister waited for me.
The Tower of London was originally designed as a fortress for Monarchs' use at first I think. Then later starting from the thirteenth century they started to use it as prisions and execution areas. Several famous prisoners include: Queen Elizabeth I, King Edward V, and King Henry VI. Several famous criminals executed in the Tower include: Queen Anne Boleyn, her brother George Boleyn (they were said to have perverted sexual interactions), and Lady Jane Grey (poor girl..). So it was quite creepy to be in there, especially in the towers where they used to lock prisoners. The grafittis they carved on the walls were preserved well. The diagrams are actually very neat and skillfully carved XD (boy do they get bored in there). I did a lot of walking in there = =. Not only were there prisons, there were also crown jewels, armours, and torture rooms. I am glad I listened to Janet and went in there, the tour was exciting and fresh.
