Fun Fact: Norwegians celebrate Christmas on the 24th, it is also when they open their presents
As mentioned before, I would write some blogs in English and some in Chinese, but after serious consideration, I decided that anytime before I write my English Provincial, every blog entry shall be in ENGLISH. I'm sorry, but English-speaking people are just cooler......*races away*; I'm kidding! The reason is because, I'd like to use this opportunity to improve every aspect of my English skills. Failing that provincial won't do me any good.
Winter break has started today, so far I haven't done anything productive except walking all the way to Nester's Market to buy Pumpkin Pie for three dollars. I know I'm on a diet, but still, a pumpkin pie won't hurt eh?! And come on! it's Christmas, besides, it's stated "0 transfat". This was how I persuaded myself. In fact, I didn't intend to come back with a pumpkin pie, my objective was to get gingerbread cookies. But I don't understand why they don't sell any there except one type, which, didn't really look too good. It's Christmas, I thought Gingerbread cookies should play a major part during this time! Why?! Why aren't there any?!
Other than the pie, I'm also planning to open my Lindor Chocolate after 10 days of purchacing. Lindor is one of my favourites after Godiva. But Lindor was chosen to accompany me on Christmas eve was becuase Godiva was simply too expensive and too far. Next standing in the middle between the pie and chocolate, I have the Kou Shibasaki Invitation Live. Sugoy eh? Friends have probably heard me blabbing on and on about it. But I do have to agree with Daniel, it's the Most-wanted-concert of this year. A detailed description of the concert would be written in a few days later to satisfy my own pleasure.
Another year passed just like that. I cannot believe that I'll be 18 in 2008 WOW. Usually during this time I'm suppose to be in Taiwan, celebrating with the shopping malls, with the streets people. Celebrating Christmas in Canada, is actually, not bad at all. Since I won't have to stress about jet lag, no allergy, and time goes slower in Canada, I actually feel that I have more time to enjoy my holiday.
Things to do during holidays are:
J-Dramas: I shall use this valuable time to download any good ones from the past, starting with the oldest ones.
Kou Shibasaki Invitation live translation: I really thought the things Kou said during the concert are things that fans can't miss! I'll do my best! Grrr!
English Provincial practices: Surely I cannot be entertained all day, there must be some studying going around. My priority shall be English Provincial practices.
The Great Gastby & 1984: I started on 1984 already, I'm enjoying it. After that I plan to start on the Great Gastby and Travels with Charley by Steinbeck.
Chopin and Schubert: There are a lot of piano pieces that I plan to get a good start on. The major ones shall be Schubert's sonata and Chopin's waltz. Bartok is another priority.
Boxing day: I missed boxing day for three consecutive years already. Ain't doing that again! My main target will be ESPRIT. See later entries for products that I shall win.
That's all I can think of now, but they're enough to keep me busy.
Lastly, I'd like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy new year ^^
