It's almost two in the morning, and I should go sleep soon becuase I still have to work on my piano tomorrow. But, I really, I just have to complain about something or else I cannot sleep peacefully.
So I had this idol when I was young (not that I'm old now), when I was around eleven or twelve? And I really liked her when one of her comedy was aired in Vancouver. Anyway, I thought she was funny and kind of stylish. I even had a yahoo fan group with a couple hundred members, haha. I wanted to watch more of her dramas, but I couldn't find the DVD's anywhere in Vancouver, I was too young to be allowed to use ebay and there wasn't such thing as youtube or BT back then. So it was like my dream to watch any of her dramas in those days, pathetic eh? I remember she had a drama filmed before I entered highschool, it was translated "Absolute Plan". It was some kind of science fiction drama? And I really really wanted to watch it. But still, I had no access to any of her dramas back then. Funny how I only watched one of her dramas during the time I idolized her.
After I entered highschool, I became too busy to keep track with her news and her dramas. I had to abandon the yahoo group that I set up. Before I even realized, I lost interest in this person and became super fans of W-inds, BoA, and Ayu, then it was Eddie, and now Kou (man I change fast).
Anyway, these days, I decided to take a short break from Japanese dramas, becos I think I really need to practice my Chinese before I forget everything. So I decided to fulfil my childhood dream by looking up "Absolute Plan" on tudou.com. So the drama in general is horrible. The quality is low, the script was all over the place, and the actors sucked (including her). The quality really shocked me, it looked like one of those flicks from the 70's. There are 40 eipsodes and I have no idea why so many useless parts are added and the plot just kept on going in circles without a focuspoint. There is like a 10 minute part where the guy and the girl romantically talked about stars in the sky. And of course, the characters weren't designed well enough to convince the audience. The actors, they are supposed to be experienced actors who are in their 30's, but they exaggerate everything. And I can't even tell whether they are crying or laughing. Even the seven year old girl from "Bara nai no Hanaya" can do a better job than all of these "professional actors". In fact, I think the two youngest actors did the best job acting in this drama, despite the fact that they are two hotties *drools*. Talk about the CG, they are worse than the "Power Rangers" live action from 20 years ago.
This drama was a great disappointment for me. I don't understand why these famous actors would be cast in this low quality show. And aren't they kind of too old to film these types? It appears to be even more unbelievable that this was actually well-received in China. I would think this is a live action show version of a manga, but apparently it's not. It actually not suitable for young viewers in my opinion. I had been complaining to Ariel for two days already, she was like:
"Why watch then if you're suffering?!"
I told her "I'm trying to fulfil my childhood dream!"
"You had a pathetic dream"
Yeah I know I had no life when I was 12..
I guess my expectation had really gone up since then...
Still, I think not all the dramas in mainland China sucked like this one, if I know how to choose next time. But for now, the doramas are the ones I'm looking forward to. I think I should be getting back to watching them after a whole week of torture. After all, the new Summer dramas are suppose to come out soon (I think they're already out).
Anyway, this is one of the hot guys I was talking about: http://www.runsky.com/homepage/fashion/model/gent/china/images/00041485.jpg
I think I might watch orange days again this week. Grr, when is Kou filming a new drama? I want an orange day SP or orange days II :(
